I Miss Chewing

Let me tell you these two weeks of soft liquids are becoming unbearable.  My diet consists of yogurt and creme soups.  I throw in an occasional sugar free yogurt and I have a protein shake daily.  Needless to say I am tired of this diet.  Almost to the point that I don't want to eat.  Right now I'm sipping my 6oz cup of  decaf coffee and dreading my breakfast.  Hopefully tomorrow I will find out that I get to go to the next level.

I've noticed that I feel so much better already!  I should have started exercising by now.  I have officially nominated myself for the procrastination queen of 2015.  It's hard to get out and walk when you are faced with the highest temps of the year.  I know I could and should get up early to walk and exercise but I really am not a morning person.  Hopefully I will at least be cleared to get into the pool and do some swimming.  I will be more apt to exercise then.  Go out for a walk and then jump into the pool to cool down.

I've dropped 25 pounds since I began this journey, 13 pounds since surgery!  That's amazing.  I am really close to a weight I haven't seen in a t least 2 years, maybe longer.  I still haven't gotten the nerve to try on this one pair of shorts.  Maybe in the next few days.  I bought these shorts about 2 years ago and immediately grew out of them.  Hopefully before the end of summer I'll be able to wear them!

  1. Regarding the shorts...Just you wait, my friend! The first time I shopped the Misses Department, for the first time in years, I tried on a pair of Size 14 jeans. My friend said...Go down a size! The Size 12's fit. I strolled up to the counter, paid for the jeans, and floated out of the store! Just wait, my friend, you'll be in those shorts way before you think you will! Rule the World, Baby!
